“Note: this is an Ecuadorian place - Spanish speaking and lots of Spanish food. Super nice and clean beach. Comfy beds. Great pools and lounge areas. Great food and bars. We really enjoyed the staff: We received excellent attention from both Moises and Angel at the bars. Each made us feel special and always made us smile when we interacted with them. Angel was good about using English with us and Moises was attentive, and remembered our favorite drinks, as well as always made us laugh and brightened our day. Diana served us multiple times in the dining area and was always attentive and thoughtful. She quickly learned our patterns and anticipated our needs before we could ask. Her kindness and friendliness were apparent each time we saw her. She is a gentle and nice host. Jonatan and Erika are amazing entertainers and performers. Jonatan is very funny and did a great job getting people up and involved in fun activities. Erika is extremely skilled in the areas she teaches and was very friendly and engaging. You can tell they both enjoy their work as they get the crowd going and challenge people to try something with which they may not be comfortable, helping guests have a fun and memorable time. Ways to improve: Increase the options for non-alcoholic drinks. Rotate the movies screened (the same movie played on both the first and last nights of our 5 night stay). Open at least one area earlier. As breakfast opens at 7, it would be nice if one thing (a pool or the gym) opened before 10 am for those who like to get up early. As right now during COVID there are more restrictions, perhaps it could be that the gym is a possibility starting earlier, but you must reserve for off-peak hours more than 12 hours in advance or something. We would have liked to use the gym but never did, given that it's hours were the same as the lifeguard hours. We never saw anyone using the gym during our time there but saw there was an attendant during it's operating hours. Perhaps it would be better use of manpower to have someone available to unlock the room when people sign up during a broader range of hours rather than having someone there the whole time during a shorter timespan.”
